Maria Jackson, LMFT, LPC
Hi there! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) working primarily with older teens and adults. Most of my work has been centered around anxiety, depression, self-esteem/identity, life transitions, emerging adulthood, interpersonal relationships, and managing stress.
I was trained through a systemic lens, meaning to look outside the individual person and see how other factors can be influencing experiences and hardships. My goal is to create a caring relationship based on trust, safety and respect.
I look forward to sitting by your side and help create an atmosphere for exploration and change.
Outside of work you can find me exploring the food scene in Austin, traveling with my husband, reading, baking, and walking with my hound mix, Sophie.
